Firehouse Frontman CJ Snare Takes Break for Abdominal Surgery

Snare to Sit Out Upcoming Shows

Surgery Scheduled for September 1

Firehouse frontman CJ Snare has announced that he will be undergoing abdominal surgery on September 1, requiring him to take a temporary break from the band's scheduled performances.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Snare explained that he has been experiencing abdominal issues that necessitate surgical intervention. He emphasized that the surgery is necessary for his long-term health and recovery.

"I've been dealing with some abdominal issues for a while now," said Snare. "After consulting with my doctors, we've decided that surgery is the best course of action to address these problems and get me back on the road as soon as possible."

During Snare's recovery period, Firehouse will continue to perform with a replacement vocalist. The band has not yet announced who will fill in for Snare, but they have assured fans that the shows will go on.

"I'm deeply disappointed to have to step away from the band for a bit," said Snare. "I love performing live and connecting with our fans. But I know that this surgery is necessary, and I'm confident that I'll be back stronger than ever soon."

Firehouse fans and friends have been sending messages of support to Snare, wishing him a speedy recovery. The band has been a staple in the hard rock scene for over 30 years, with hits like "Love of a Lifetime" and "Don't Treat Me Bad."
